Tips to Help You Battle the Cold Weather!

When it comes to exercise, generally speaking, the preferred time in the morning. After all, this is the best time to get it out of the way and take on your day with a feeling of achievement. However, as the weather starts to get colder, fewer and fewer people emerge from their homes each morning to exercise. Sleep

The first thing to do to prepare for a cold morning workout is to get a good night sleep beforehand. When you are sleeping, your body is repairing itself and preparing you for the day ahead. If you aren’t able to have a good rest then your body can’t repair itself completely, leaving you to wake up feeling unrefreshed and disinterested in exercising.

Wear the Right Gear

You don’t need to buy a completely new wardrobe, but you will need clothes which are mad for exercising in the cold weather, such as items which wick sweat away from your skin. If sweat stays on your skin as you exercise in the cold if you can you to feel ill and impact your exercise results.

Stretch and Warm Up

Even more so during the cold weather, be sure to warm up your muscles by giving them a good stretch before you head outside. In addition, o stretching the muscles you expect to exercise, be sure to remember your supporting muscles to help keep your posture correct.

Don't Stop

It can be too easy to stop and take photos of the morning sun, or animals you only see during the cold mornings, or even to have a chat with a fellow jogger. Why? Because you won’t start again. Instead, the cold weather will make its way into your body and you will quickly make your way home!
